1. Optimized Website
A good website is the cornerstone of most any effective online marketing initiative. Since mobile users far outnumber desktop computer users, we recommend having a mobile first designed site. In addition, make your site easy to navigate, go easy on the fancy formatting and sound (both of which can be distracting), and make sure to add a call to action at the bottom of each page.
2. Social Media Presence
More than 81 percent of Americans have at least one social media profile, and 29 percent report checking a social media site multiple times a day. For medical practices and health-and-wellness companies, having a social media presence means being able to connect with your patients and customers in a way that’s more relaxed than the typical clinical environment, as well as share new information in your field that patients can learn from between visits to your office.
Good social media marketing practices include posting regularly (at least three to four times a week), replying promptly to any guest posts or comments, and mixing up your posts with links to other information you think might be of interest to your followers.

Make sure that you post articles, links, photos and testimonials that your readers find useful and entertaining. Make sure to also mix up your posts with photos, videos and polls, as well as text.
